Pet Vaccinations

We offer all the recommended core vaccines for dogs, cats and rabbits.

What vaccine does my pet need?

Dogs

Dogs need to be vaccinated with a C5 vaccine that protects them against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and the two components of Kennel Cough-  Parainfluenza and Bordatella Bronchiseptica.

Did you know we offer an early finish vaccination protocol for puppies?

This means puppies are able to receive 2 instead of 3 vaccinations and can go out and explore the world and socialse safely 4 weeks earlier than most! Call us on (03) 8373 0301 for more information.

Cats

Cats need to be vaccinated with an F3 vaccine to protect them against Rhinotracheitis, Panleucopenia and Calici Virus.

Vaccination can be given as early as 8 weeks of age. Kittens require 2 booster vaccines before being given annually.

Cats should also be vaccinated with the FIV vaccine to protect against Feline Aids.

The FIV vaccine is a course of 3 vaccines given 2-4 weeks apart initially before then being given annually with their F3 vaccination.

Rabbits

Rabbits need to be vaccinated every year, just like dogs and cats.

The Filavac vaccine protects against both type 1 and 2 Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) also known as Calicivirus which is a fatal disease if caught.

Vaccination can be given as early as 10 weeks of age and is given annually thereafter.
