Veterinary Nurse
I started my journey as a Veterinary Nurse in 2022, and since then, I’ve earned my Certificate III in Animal Studies (specialising in Veterinary Nursing) and my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
One of my greatest passions in Veterinary Nursing at the moment is physical rehabilitation, particularly helping our furry patients recover after orthopaedic surgeries. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing our patients bounce back to their happy, playful selves, wagging their tails, and living pain free again!
I actually discovered my calling to become a veterinary nursing a little bit later than most. When I was 21, I was working full-time as a retail manager while doing pet sitting on the side. As i spent more time caring for animals while pet sitting, I found myself falling more and more in love with the work, and I realised it was the kind of meaningful career I’d always dreamed of. I knew I wanted to make a real difference, and being able to care for animals every day is truly a dream come true.
What I love most about my job is the deep bond we form with pets as we care for them. There’s nothing like providing comfort and healing to animals in need and of course, I get the added bonus of cuddling some of the most adorable companions along the way.
