Dr Damanpreet (Daman) Kaur

I have loved animals ever since I can remember. As a little girl I could be found hugging whatever small fluffy creature I could find. I  always wanted to be a doctor.

When it came time to choose a career, I was tossing up between human medical practitioner and veterinarian. I have always loved animals and enjoy  being around them.  I was ecstatic when I got in to the College of Veterinary Science in Punjab, India where I spent next five years learning veterinary science.

My Philosophy

Caring for animals is my true passion and I can’t imagine doing anything else!
Everyday I look forward to the opportunity of working together with pet owners in improving their pet’s health. I feel immense joy seeing my patients recover from illness and watching them become happy again.

Since joining the fabulous team at Lynbrook Vet, I have loved watching the dedication the team has in their work and I enjoy learning new things every day from each of my colleagues. We recognise the significance of your pets and the place they hold in your family and strive to provide compassionate veterinary service.

Qualifications

I completed my Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, India.

I came to Australia after my graduation and  passed my first part of the Australasian Veterinary examination in 2021 for my registration to work in Victoria. Since then I have  been working with small animals as a veterinarian under supervision and I am looking forward to completing my clinical exam and getting my general registration.

My Family and interests

Outside of work, I am a dedicated dog mum alongside with my husband Navjot to a cute little cavoodle named Simba. I love spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies include watching movies, travelling and trying new foods.
