About Me
My journey into the veterinary industry began shortly after finishing high school while travelling in Egypt. During my travels, I came across a stray dog who was limping, and feeling unable to help him in that moment stayed with me long after I returned home. That experience made me realise how much I wanted to be able to make a difference for animals in need. I have always felt a strong connection with animals, and that has naturally led me into a career where I can help care for them every day.
My Passion, Purpose & Motivation
I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient I meet and always strive to treat each animal with the same love and attention that I would give my own pets.
One of the things I enjoy most about my role is building relationships with both animals and their people. I love getting to know our clients, sharing stories, and discovering the similarities (and differences!) between our pets. Those connections make every day rewarding and remind me why I love what I do.
My Qualifications & Experience
I have been working in the veterinary industry since 2022 and hold a Bachelor’s degree, along with AVNAT registration as a Veterinary Nurse.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong foundation in patient care, clinical nursing support, and client communication. I enjoy being part of a team that helps pets live healthier, happier lives while supporting owners through every stage of their pet’s journey.
My Family & Hobbies
At home, I have my much-loved cat, Smudge, a black scaredy-cat who keeps me company and always keeps life interesting. My family also has a Labradoodle named Sammy, who lives with my parents but is very much part of the extended family.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, watching Agatha Christie mysteries, and trying to get back into reading more often. I also have a background in classical piano and still enjoy playing whenever I get the chance.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets and helping provide them with the very best care possible.
